Beaten by the weather

Journal Entry: Tue Nov 24, 2009, 11:32 AM
Oki First of all a big massive (hug) and thank you so much for all the kind comments and faves on my work recently, means more than i have words for and i do thank every singe one.

Headed down to the beach again today hoping to catch a shot i wanted to try, sadly the weather is getting steadily worse with the wind speed picking up quite a bit, that means there is a hell of a lot of spray about too, not good for the camera let alone taking pictures, yet again my filters are coated in salty spray, not good. It reached the point i sat on the beach after only a few shots and cracked open the flask of coffee i brought and watched the waves crash over the rocks for half an hour pondering what to shoot for the rest of the week, until either the wind dies down or changes direction the beach is a no go despite it's beauty.
As you can tell i am not a happy bunny today, woke up today feeling pretty crap, i have been rough for a week or so now and feeling really low and lonely, today i pretty much broke this was probably because i have not eaten for 2 days but hey there we go, going to find some toast after writing this i think, decided to take a break from my friends while i am like this, turned off msn and facebook today as it will allow me to focus on what i need to do and to get some projects started and finished.
One thing that happened that was lovely today, i popped up to see some friends i have not seen in ages in their little shop i got the most lovely welcome and a massive hug from Carol, it truly has been ages since i was here last and the welcome almost brought me out in tears so we spent some time filling in the gaps about what has happened since my last visit, made me feel so much better, never underestimate the value of true friends and their ability to make you happy.
Right toast time then clean my gear and plan tomorrows Dartmoor shoot after work, not sure what i am going for will find out tomorrow.
